I am a guitarist, composer, teacher and improvisor. I record and play under my own name. My music is influenced by #BAM or 'jazz', blues etc. as well as movements in the American and European avant garde, for example the AACM and related musics. My latest record is a trio album entitled 'Decorating Time', it will be released in early 2021.

Collaborative Music Production
In this workshop, students collaborate on a short musical project. We will learn music theory and skills relative to their level/ experience, and use available technology to write or program tracks with vocals and instruments. Ideally students will have access to free DAW's (garageband, cakewalk etc) and some way to record to a computer, but different setups are workable! Students will create a track or video of their collaboration. This workshop can be held remotely.

Any over 10+, as long the kids are roughly the same age and ability level
